By using UsedCarVet you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. The service is operated by Yusuf Akmaz.

What the service is

UsedCarVet is an information tool. You give it details of a used car and it shows public recall and complaint data, live listings of similar cars, and an AI-written opinion about the price, risks and what to ask the seller. See what we do and don't do for its limits.

Not advice, no guarantee

• Everything we show is general information and opinion. It is not a vehicle history report, an inspection, an appraisal, or financial, legal or safety advice.
• AI can be wrong. Prices, repair costs and risks are estimates. A "Buy" result does not mean the car is safe or worth its price, and a "Pass" result does not prove the car or seller is bad.
• You are solely responsible for your decision to buy or not buy a car. Before you pay, get a history report (such as Carfax, AutoCheck or an NMVTIS-based report), verify the title and VIN in person, and have an independent mechanic inspect the car.

Using the service

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement.
• Give accurate information and only upload content you have the right to share. Do not enter personal data of other people beyond what appears in the listing.
• Do not abuse the service: no automated or bulk requests, scraping, attempts to avoid limits (for example by clearing cookies or using other devices to get more free checks), reverse engineering, or resale of reports without our written permission.
• Everyone gets one free check, with no sign-up. After that you need a paid plan. Free checks are limited per device and per network, and the service has daily capacity limits. We may change or end them at any time.

Paid plans and payments

• Some plans are paid. The price, the number of checks and how long they last are shown before you pay. A "check" is one full report; each report includes up to 8 follow-up questions.
• Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and may charge taxes (for example VAT or sales tax) as required where you live. Lemon Squeezy's own terms apply to the payment.
• After you pay you get an access code (shown on the site and printed on your receipt email). The code works like a key: anyone who has it can use your remaining checks and open your saved reports, so keep it private. It can be used on up to 3 devices. We cannot replace a lost code unless you can show us your receipt.
• Your paid checks and their reports are saved with the code for one year, so you can open them again on any device. You can delete a saved report at any time.
• Checks expire as stated for the plan. Plans do not renew automatically. See the Refund Policy.
• We may refuse or cancel a purchase we believe is fraudulent or abusive.

Third-party data and websites

We use data from third parties (for example NHTSA, Auto.dev and dealers' public listing pages). We do not control it and do not promise it is accurate, complete or current. A listing may already be sold or changed. Listing prices shown are dealer asking prices, not sale prices. We are not affiliated with any dealer, marketplace or car brand, and their names and trademarks belong to their owners. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for them.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you enter and upload. You allow us to process it, including by sending it to our AI and data providers, only to provide the service as described in the Privacy Policy.

Our content

The site, its design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use your reports for your own car purchase and share them with people helping you with it (for example family or a mechanic).

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Yusuf Akmaz is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for losses from a car purchase or sale decision, a car's condition, or missing or wrong data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and ending

We may change the service or these terms. If we do, we will update the date above, and using the service after that means you accept the new terms. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye, and disputes will be handled in the courts of Istanbul, unless mandatory consumer law where you live says otherwise.
